Spot and Tango Experience
My one-year-old Yorkshire has always been very picky since I adopted her. She also has very sensitive digestion and looks small for her age. Her skin is extremely dry, and the coat is dull. I have always fed her premium kibble but decided to try fresh food for her.
After researching various fresh foods, I decided to give Spot and Tango a shot. I created a profile and filled in all the necessary details.
Part1: Ordering process
To get started with Spot and Tango, you’ll need to create your dog’s profile by filling out a questionnaire to capture the basic contact information and comprehensive details about your pet.
You’ll need to give details about your dog, including the sex, breed, current weight, target weight, body type, and whether it’s neutered or spayed. It’s also optional to give your dog’s birthday. Spot and Tango will also enquire about your dog’s health, activity levels, and allergies.
The company will then recommend the best recipes that suit your dog based on the information provided. You can opt for a combination of flavors for variety. There’s also an option to select a complete meal topper plan.
If you are satisfied with everything, you must enter your shipping and billing information to complete your order.
Part 2: Spot & Tango arrives!
Once your order is complete, your shipment will arrive in 3-5 business days.
What comes in your first box
My package arrived exactly the day I was given when I was making the order. The food came in a recyclable cardboard box with dry ice and thick insulation to ensure it remains frozen. The insulation is crafted from biodegradable cornstarch, which can simply be dissolved in water.
A manual with feeding and storage instructions and how best to transition my dog to fresh food was also included. Further, there were instructions to transfer the meals to the freezer immediately after I received them to maintain the food’s freshness.
What’s inside PetPlate
Inside the box, two weeks’ food came pre-portioned and tailored to your dog’s size to avoid overfeeding. Additionally, the individual meals came packaged in a thin, sealed plastic bag designed to take minimal storage space in the freezer or fridge.
Part 3: What your dog think of it
As I opened the food, my dog kept on jumping up and down in excitement. She hardly waited for me to put it in her bowl before devouring it. I was shocked as she licked her plate clean within no time. She seemed to enjoy every bit of it to the end. I couldn’t be happier!
Part 4: Expected results
Although we have been on this food for only two weeks, I’ve started noticing positive changes in my gal. She no longer snorts at her meals but always looks forward to the next meal time. She no longer has digestive issues, and her coat seems shinier.
As I continue feeding her this food, I expect her to gain some pounds and have smooth, healthy skin.
How to transit to Spot and Tango
Just like any other food, you should gradually transition your dog to this food to avoid digestive upset. Start by adding a small portion of Spot and Tango dog food to your dog’s current food, then slowly increase the quantity of new food while decreasing the old food till it’s fully transitioned.
Spot and Tango: Pricing
Spot and Tango dog food prices depend on how much your dog eats, the recipe chosen, and the food type. However, the plans start from as low as $7 for Unkibble and $15 for fresh meals per week. The bigger the dog, the higher the cost of the food. You’ll get a 20% discount on your first order.
Where to buy Spot and Tango
Spot and Tango dog foods are available on the company’s website. You won’t get this food at any physical store. You’ll only need to create a profile on Spot and Tango’s website and get a customized meal plan for your dog.
Spot and Tango Dog Food Recalls
This dog food brand has not recorded any recall since its inception. This speaks well about its commitment to ensuring the quality and safety of all its products.
